EXPERIENCE

Emma’s illustrious career started out in the world of global magazines, as the sole assistant to five Editors at Harpers & Queen for 2 years in London. She left the print world behind in 2000 as the world started to look at a new digital era, to join the visionary Natalie Massenet, as a Co-Founder of online luxury retailer NET-A-PORTER. They launched the business as a team of five people, with Emma spearheading Global Marketing and Communications within the business for over 16 years.

Whilst there, she orchestrated all the Global business launch strategies for the Group, including NET-A-PORTER, THE OUTNET, MR PORTER and PORTER Magazine, devised market strategies for all the businesses in key growth markets and relocated to New York in 2009 to propel the US strategy and growth for the portfolio, leaving the business in 2016.

She joined Amazon as Brand Marketing & Communications Director overseeing the re-brand for SHOPBOP and East Dane and re-shaping the internal teams to create a more robust and successful model and structure for the business to run and scale.

In 2017, she assumed the role of President for The Communications Store, a leading Brand & Communications agency from the UK, to launch the business in the US, turning a profit in the first year of business and scaling to over 40 clients in the Fashion, Beauty and Lifestyle sectors with teams of 35 individuals across NYC and LA.
